Which markets does AnalytikCapital cover?
AnalytikCapital can analyze about 2,700 cataloged symbols, mostly US stocks plus crypto, forex, indices, ETFs, bonds, energy, metals and agricultural markets, using data from Binance, yfinance, Finnhub and TradingView. Published plans cover a much smaller selected universe of US equities and crypto.
What asset classes are in the catalog?
Every analysis starts from one symbol catalog that maps each ticker to the right provider and trading calendar. It currently holds 2,694 entries. Some are aliases of the same instrument (for example several names for WTI crude), so the counts below describe catalog entries, not distinct markets.
| Asset class | Entries | Examples of what is covered |
|---|---|---|
| US stocks | 2,431 | Listings on NYSE, Nasdaq and NYSE American |
| Crypto | 91 | Mostly major coins quoted in USDT on Binance |
| Forex | 82 | Major and cross currency pairs, plus a few currency futures |
| Indices | 35 | US benchmarks plus major European and Asian indices |
| ETFs | 12 | Broad US index funds and a few leveraged or volatility funds |
| Bonds | 12 | US Treasury yields and Treasury futures |
| Energy | 12 | Crude oil, natural gas, gasoline, heating oil |
| Agricultural | 10 | Grains, softs and livestock |
| Metals | 9 | Gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper |
Where does the price data come from?
Candles are routed by asset class to a primary provider, with fallbacks if the primary returns nothing:
- Binance is primary for crypto.
- yfinance is primary for stocks, ETFs and most other markets.
- Finnhub and TradingView serve as fallbacks in the same chain.
Before the engines see the bars, the data layer checks them for gaps and sanitizes obvious bad prints. Results are cached for a short time so repeated requests on the same chart stay consistent.
How is time shown?
All timestamps are shown in market time (ET), in the form HH:mm ET, whatever the asset. This keeps plans, sessions and killzones on one clock and avoids confusion around daylight-saving changes.
What about regular hours and extended hours?
Each intraday bar for a US equity is tagged with its session: pre-market, regular, after-hours or closed. Crypto bars are tagged as round-the-clock trading.
- Analysis for US equities uses the regular-session (RTH) series by default, and published plans always do.
- Pre-market and after-hours extremes are not dropped silently. They are carried onto the first or last regular-session bar of the day and flagged as extended-hours values.
- Crypto trades 24/7, so no session filter applies.
- Daily and weekly bars carry no extended-hours split.
How are prices rounded?
Prices are rounded by asset class instead of being shown as raw floating-point numbers. The rules:
| Asset | Decimals |
|---|---|
| Stocks, ETFs, indices | 2 |
| Gold, crude oil | 2 |
| Silver | 3 |
| Forex pairs | 5 |
| Yen (JPY) pairs | 3 |
| Crypto priced 1,000 or more | 2 |
| Crypto priced from 1 to under 1,000 | 4 |
| Crypto priced under 1 | 6 |
Crypto is rounded by magnitude because a fixed two decimals would make a coin near one dollar show the same value for its entry, stop and target.
Which timeframes are available?
Six: 1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 1d and 1w. Each analysis also uses the neighboring timeframes to build the three wave degrees, as described in the methodology.
Which markets get published plans?
AnalytikCapital publishes plans for a small selected universe of large US equities (including major index ETFs) and leading crypto pairs. Forex is not part of it today. Equity plans use the 15-minute regular-session series; crypto plans run on their own schedule because the market never closes.
The universe is deliberately small. The plan engine rejects most symbol-days, and rotating across a short list of liquid markets is how it finds a qualifying setup without loosening its rules. A day with no published plan is a normal outcome.
What the coverage does not mean
Being in the catalog means the engines can read the market. It does not mean a plan exists for it, that the data is real-time for every asset class, or that any market is suitable for you to trade.
For how a plan is built or rejected on any of these markets, see the methodology.
Questions
Can I analyze a symbol that is not in the published plans?
Yes. The in-app analysis works on any symbol in the catalog. Only the plans AnalytikCapital publishes on its own channels are limited to a small selected universe.
Why are all times shown in ET?
Plans, sessions and killzones are defined against the US market clock, so every timestamp is shown in market time (Eastern Time) to keep one reference for every asset, including crypto.
Does the engine use pre-market and after-hours prices?
For US equities the engine works on the regular-session series. Pre-market and after-hours extremes are not discarded silently; they are carried onto the nearest regular-session bar and flagged.
Why does a crypto price show more decimals than a stock price?
Crypto is rounded by magnitude so that small-priced coins keep meaningful precision. A coin priced under one dollar shows six decimals, and one priced under 0.0001 shows eight, while stocks and indices show two.
